Serene Haven is a beautiful, old, and lovingly maintained Victorian house, located in the heart of the Karoo. Generations of children have grown up in this enchanting house, and now it is here to offer you a home in the heart of the Karoo.

Comfort is our top priority.   We strive to satisfy every guest by maintaining extremely hygienic rooms, bathrooms, and living areas.   Step inside our house and you will be greeted by graceful and elegant rooms, filled with a peaceful and inviting atmosphere.

Serene Haven is located in the small town of Victoria West, in the vast Great Karoo — the home of rugby legend Mannetjies Roux and the peaceful life of the countryside.

It is a perfect place for a stopover after a long journey or an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas.   Our lovingly maintained house offers accommodation for short- and long-term travelers.

The rooms, traditionally large and spacious as in many Victorian country houses, are suitable for families, friends traveling together, or solo guests looking for a comfortable place to stay overnight.

Secure parking is available for vehicles.

Pets are all welcome and can be accommodated as long as primary arrangements have been made.

Children under 10 will share the same room booked, extra bed can be arranged prior to arrival

Children accommodated in separate rooms will be charged at standard rates

10 years and older standard room rates will apply
